Lauren A. Audette was admitted to practice law in California in 2015 and in Arizona in 2016. She is a 2015 graduate of Thomas Jefferson School of Law, in San Diego, California. Lauren is a member of the State Bars of Arizona and California, as well as a member of the Pima County Bar Association. Lauren earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Arizona in Public Administration in 2010, where she concentrated in Criminal Justice and Non-Profit Management & Public Administration. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona, in Political Science. Lauren’s primary focus is on family law and mediation as the firm's managing partner and owner.
While earning her Master’s Degree, Lauren worked as a forensic child interviewer with the Southern Arizona Children’s Advocacy Center, assisting the Department of Child Services and local criminal investigations, regarding abuse to children and families in Southern Arizona. This lens has provided Lauren with great compassion and understanding in complex custodial family law cases.
During the completion of her Juris Doctor, Lauren created, and sat on the Board of Directors of the nonprofit organization, Counter Balance: Foundation for Victims of Crime. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing free legal services to victims of violent crime in Southern California, bringing a voice to those victims searching to be made whole again after tragedy. Now, Lauren continues the organization’s mission locally in Southern Arizona. Lauren is also an active family law volunteer for Step Up to Justice's family law clinic that provides free family law services in Pima County.
With her years of mentorship and guidance, Pam encouraged Lauren to provide mediation services to family law clients in the Tucson community. Lauren successfully took over the practice of mediation in the law firm when Pam retired at the end of 2020. With Pam's tutelage, Lauren inherited a keen sense of compassion and finesse in mediating family law issues. While Lauren is both a litigator and a mediator, this duality provides her a unique perspective towards resolving disputes and creatively combining solutions in mediation that minimize cost and stress to families. Lauren's mediation focus is collaborative in nature, involving a wide variety of resources and community members that are dedicated to amicable family resolution.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing soccer for the Tucson Women’s Soccer League, singing, and cooking. As a Massachusetts native, Lauren also has a strong passion for the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
