BIO

Monali Amin is a family law attorney, admitted to practice in Arizona and the Fort McDowell Tribal Court of the Yavapai Nation. Monali earned her undergraduate degree from the Arizona State University, with majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Following her graduation from the Arizona State University, Monali volunteered as a children’s advocate for the CASA program in Maricopa County for two (2) years. As a CASA advocate, Monali trained to advocate for children in foster care. During this time, Monali gained valuable experience in mentoring foster care children and advocating for their best interest.

While volunteering as a CASA Advocate, Monali attended law school at the Arizona Summit Law School where she served as an editor, team leader, and the marketing-and-events editor for the Arizona Summit Law Review.

While primarily focusing on family law since her admission to practice law in Arizona, Monali has also worked on immigration and criminal defense matters. While working in private practice for family law firms, Monali was also a public defender for the Fort McDowell Tribal Court of the Yavapai Nation for three (3) years.
